Louis Vuitton Does Graffiti Good

2008 December 6

Marc Jacobs and Steven Sprouse’ 2001 LV graffiti collection is being revisited in honor of Sprouse new book “The Stephen Sprouse Book”.  A retrospective  of his graffiti prints will roll at Deitch Projects Gallery in NYC from Jan 8 – Feb 28 to correspond with the book release.

Steven Sprouse was a radical visionary and considered a god among my designer friends in NYC.  He’s well known for his urban, graffiti approach and applications.  Sadly, he died in 2004.

Terry Richardson, a star, shot the Louis Vuitton spread for Bazaar.

Graffitified is the only way in hell I would carry one of these Louis Vuitton bags.  Sorry.

…Ditto
