Even if you have a problem with Italian you should be engrossed by this beautiful piece of film-making by Andrea Cavallari.
It’s a very short ‘film noir‘ piece that looks as if it was shot in 1960, but was actually released last year. He’s takes risks with the photography and drama that fly.
Possibly it works because it’s short. And that’s cool; it’s one of the reasons the genre exists, right? To create intense/dense pieces that would otherwise fall apart under a two hour viewing.
