Erin Fetherston Doing It Her Way
Getting an invitation online is so much cooler than getting one in the mail.
CoreAudioVisual, who I um… Love, created this one for Erin Fetherston‘s fashion show at Bryant Park next week. Hits it beautiful. In the beginning it’s all trippy, with pink flowers flying toward you, but then mixed with the music and the speed of the animation, feels so innocent and somehow elegant (like Fetherston’s work). You can’t do this with paper.
Getting a hard invitation that’s a piece of art itself is sad to lose, but I would grab a screenshot of this invitation and use it as my background – no clutter. And anyway, when this catches on, which it will, you’ll be given the option to download a printable version, no doubt.
