A.I. the movie was inspired by Ian Watson and Brian Aldiss’ book Super Toys Last All Summer Long. The projected was started by Stanley Kubrick but finished by Steven Speilberg shortly after Kubrick’s death.

These are some wicked sketches by Chris Baker, and are published in the new book Artificial Intelligence: The Vision Behind The Film, Thames & Hudson
