Last night, LoveTheCool launched the Facebook Page ‘Secret Boston‘: a place for Bostonians to share the secrets of their city with fellow Bostonians.
Inspired by the wildly successful Secret London, we encourage fans to ‘Post Like Mad’!
Share all the secret, hidden, hard to find Boston spots you just love to gush about:
- Restaurants
- Bars
- Theater
- Music
- Fashion
Even:
- Parking lots
- Street corners (why not?)
- A park bench…
WHY?
The recent popularity of location-based networking site Foursquare has proven there’s a real desire for peer recommendations, on the micro-level.
And so, Secret Boston let’s you recommend peer-to-peer, but in an even more drilled-down fashion than Foursquare, since it’s direct!
You can comment back, have meaningful discussions and even build relationships, right in the Facebook stream.

street corners. why not? that used to be my best place to meet my friends, still would be if I could get out as much as I used to…after all I never knew enough to go home.
