And MG Siegler, a high-profile writer on the powerful TechCrunch blog, is tearing into Expedia for ruining his Valentine’s Day date, by not honoring his hotel reservation.
Sure, the angry customers are kind of famous, but it’s still delicious to see anyone, famous or not, bring these once ‘untouchable-without-a-class-action-suit-and-15-Lawyers‘ companies to their knees.
Thank you social media, for giving us at least a little of the power that formally belonged, exclusively, to corporations. Now, instead of having to continue our relationship with them, via their complains department, we can get out of that bad relationship immediately and just complain to our buddies – with a bull horn.



Years ago I heard a story on NPR where the man described Google as the publishing house for the 21st Century…and the 'level playing field' and suddenly it all made sense to me. I haven't stopped diving deeper into our field ever since.
