RCRD LBL Lets You – No Makes You – Discover Amazing Music
HOW DO I DISCOVER NEW MUSIC?
It’s getting trickier by the day to discover new music. I don’t know about you, but radio has gone the way of paper for me – an old school medium that stresses me out, and that I just don’t want to deal with anymore.
RCRD LBL website, though, has been an amazing discovery tool for me. They send out at least 2 free mp3s daily within their newsletter. Often the track is from an established artist just trying to promote a new album, and is usually so good I’d pay if I had to. But I don’t.
DISCOVER MUSIC WITHOUT A RADIO
I don’t really have time to check out music everyday, so I’ve started a folder in Gmail titled ‘Music To Check Out’. Once every couple of weeks I kick back and listen to all the insane RCRD LBL newsletter music.
I then:
- connect w/ the artists on their MySpace page
- download the free MP3s
- organize them in iTunes
- sych them to my iPhone.
DAMN RESTRICTIONS
Lala does not sych my RCRD LBL music., though. This is a bummer since I adore Lala music service, who let you mirror your iTunes library and have all your music in the cloud.
I’m holding out hope that the restriction gets lifted eventually.
