It's a HOCKEY ad….not an ad for the Nutcracker!!!! PETA has more violence in their ads than a guy in a bear suit throwing a hockey fan through some candy glass. Move on…worry about something more important in the world, like the Simon Cowell and Ellen DeGeneres fued!!! lol

I'm not into PETA either, by the way.

I've been around the game all my life. played in college, play now and coach a few teams from bantam to high school. Even for me, it goes a little too far on the violence piece. It can be funny and I do like the message about never leaving a Bruins game early, but to get thrown through a glass window, well that only perpetuates the part of hockey that is only a small part of it. It is one of the fastest games in the world, and when the action is wide open such as in the Olympics or overtime, it is the greatest sport to watch. The other Bruin spots are equally funny, cool message but don't cross the line into being too violent.

I have not watched the bruins in a very long time because they are too violet. I am tired of all the violence, nudity, etc on TV — I wish they would put more humor.

I want to say that I think it is too violent but it does not bother me! Does that make me twisted? I grew up watching commercials like Terry Tate office linebacker and I feel that in the big scheme of things this ad is not that bad. If I were in their position I would not have produced the ad because of reactions against the violence as well as saying you want to punish your fans for leaving early. That may even be the bigger mistake. People leave early for a whole host of different reasons and making them feel self conscious seems wrong to me!
