And one of my oldest buds in NYC. Lopeti Etu has always been the most everything of everyone and everywhere… The most:
- Tall
- Handsome
- Nice
- Creative
Now he’s the best hat designer! … and I’m not jealous – maybe a little, sometimes… Anyway, until recently, Lopeti was the primary designer at Hats by Selima, designing bespoke hats and headpieces for the fabulous.
Today, Lopeti is turning out fabulous work out on his own, doing his TOTAL own thing (always has, really), as himself: Lopeti Etu.
Lopeti’s designs have appeared:

- in editorial shoots for
- Elle
- Bazaar
- O
- Glamour
- … more
- and sold at high end department stores like:
- Henri Bendel’s
- Harvey Nichols (HK and Dubai)
- Fred Segal.
