Getting Hooked on The LXD (The Legion of Extraordinary Dancers)

If the popularity of Glee is any indication that the mainstream is open to non traditional, prime-time entertainment (in the form of a musical), then The LXD shows us that, at least on line, we’re ready for pure art entertainment.
This show is ambitious. Each episode is about 5 minutes long (perfect), with cinematography on the level of Six Feet Under (or better), and choreography that changes the whole game.
LXD is brief, high drama film making that celebrates street dancing and brings serious cool to online video.
The Legion of Extraordinary Dance is currently in season one, and all eight episodes can be found on Hulu.
