Fascinating Lecture on Transhumanism
The speaker was a little stiff, but the content was cool, and her last scenario was just like the movie Moon, which was pretty wicked. Saw it last week streaming on Netflix, which, by the way, is the best deal in town. $8.99 a month and they have loads of amazing documentaries, TV shows and movies. The only thing that sucks is that part of the monthly fee comes 2 DVDs in the mail, which I don’t want. I don’t have a TV and I hate mail. Anyway, they arm twist me into getting them, so then I spend the next month forgetting to drop it in the mailbox until the new ones come, at which point the guilt of forgetting to mail them back is so great I finally do it – so far. I don’t know what’s going to happen next month. It’s in god’s hands.
