Well, it go me thinking… One time when I was Polaroiding Coney Island for a commercial, I stumbled upon the ‘Unofficial Coney Island Freak-show’. It stood about 20 ft from the ‘Official Coney Island Freak-show‘ and consisted of an old man, a young dude, a set of crummy tools and a cardboard sign requesting change.

It’s like a train wreck and you can’t tear your eyes away. They were shouting at people to come see the old man miraculously hammer a huge nail into his head, through the nostril. When the crowd was thick enough the young dude started passing around the nostril nail for people to inspect for authenticity, which they did. I was like, get that thing away from me!

Drum roll, young dude gives the old guy the nail, he puts his head back, inserts this huge, fat nail, maybe 8inches, takes the hammer and starts banging the nail into his nose until all you could see was the silver disk.

He had to keep his head mostly tilted back while everyone oohed and aahd and then slowly removed the hardware from his nose – bringing lots of friends with it. It was the most disgusting thing I ever saw!

Well, I look forward to seeing Scouts updates, if he’s had experiences like me, they’ll be very interesting.
