Not really afraid of course, but when your interest is peeked by, say, Space Dust, all you see are tome lined libraries, as inaccessible as the dust itself.

Sptnk is anything but that; it’s more like Fora.tv, but simpler.

And I’m enamored with the idea of spending months or years referencing this site for cultural and historical fascinations.

Maglev Train is levitated off the ground using magnetic forces. These same magnetic forces propel the vehicle forward. It has the potential to exceed 4000 mph if deployed in a vacuum. The record speed is 360mph/580km/h.

Imagine, you can commute from Boston to LA in less than two hours.

I’ve always been interested in CERN but felt like it was beyond my understanding since particle physics is not my field, but this video does a pretty good job summarizing their work and facility. It feels accessible now.
