Facebook shutdown the Whopper Sacrifice campaign, which had users un-friend 10 people for a free hamburger, lamely citing privacy issues.

It’s like two idiots falling over themselves to move ahead, only to both fall on their face.

Burger King is doing a good job convincing people they’re down with Social Media, specifically The Whopper.

Besides that annoying 3rd World ridiculousness these guys are rolling out simple ideas that have traction and ‘stickiness’.

This one, plus that repulsive Burger King cologne quickly get people, like me, inking the brand online.

Whopper Sacrifice you install a Facebook app and if you delete 10 friends you are given a coupon for a free Whopper. Only in The States.
